North Centre Township is a community of friends and neighbors growing with business, churches and community organizations around picturesque farmlands and rolling hills. Located in Columbia County, Pennsylvania, we strive for a balance of nature, farmland preservation, and a rural community atmosphere.
The township office is located at 1059 State Route 93, Berwick, Pennsylvania and is open Tuesdays 9am to 2pm. The office is closed all major holidays and election day. We can be reached at 570-759-2733.
Calling all Cooks!
The North Centre Township Historical Society is gathering recipes from township residents for a bound collection of 500 recipes as well as local photos. The cookbook will feature a three-ring binder with a full color photo front and include photos of the township's park, churches, farms, mills, houses, and history of the township since 1925. The cost of the completed cookbook will range from $15 to $17.
The Society will use the proceeds from the sale of cookbooks to further the cause of collecting historical artifacts, as well as possibly sponsoring Community Day and donating money to build steps to the Old Ebenezer Cemetery.
The last cookbook assembled and sold by the Society was a huge success. Don't miss out and submit your recipe and cookbook order now! For more information, see the Historical Society website or stop by the township office for recipe and order forms.
